Location & Access

Victoria Falls straddles the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Most visitors fly into Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport (LVI) in Zambia. Both are well-served from Johannesburg.

The Falls

At 1,708 metres wide and up to 108 metres high, Victoria Falls is the world's largest waterfall by combined width and height. The spray cloud and roar can be experienced from over 50 km away. The falls are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, designated in 1989.
