Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest peak and the world's highest free-standing mountain, rising 5,895 metres above sea level in northern Tanzania. Its glaciated summit — Uhuru Peak — is a bucket-list climb for adventurers worldwide.

Kilimanjaro offers multiple routes of varying difficulty and scenery, all traversing distinct ecological zones from equatorial rainforest through heath, moorland, alpine desert, and finally to the permanent snowfields of the Arctic Zone.
